Optimal Control of Perfect Plasticity Part II: Displacement Tracking

چکیده
The paper is concerned with an optimal control problem governed by the rate-independent system of quasi-static perfect elasto-plasticity. objective optimize displacement field in domain occupied body means prescribed Dirichlet boundary data, which serve as variables. arising optimization nonsmooth for several reasons, particular, since control-to-state mapping not single-valued. We therefore apply a Yosida-regularization (resp., vanishing viscosity approach) to obtain single-valued operator. Beside existence solutions, their approximation this regularization approach main subject work. It turns out that so-called reverse guaranteeing suitable recovery sequence can only be shown under additional smoothness assumption on at least one solution.

Perfect Tracking of Supercavitating Non-minimum Phase Vehicles Using a New Robust and Adaptive Parameter-optimal Iterative Learning Control
In this manuscript, a new method is proposed to provide a perfect tracking of the supercavitation system based on a new two-state model. The tracking of the pitch rate and angle of attack for fin and cavitator input is of the aim. The pitch rate of the supercavitation with respect to fin angle is found as a non-minimum phase behavior. This effect reduces the speed of command pitch rate. Control...
متن کاملOptimal Control for Descriptor Systems: Tracking Problem (RESEARCH NOTE)
Singular systems have been studied extensively during the last two decades due Abstract to their many practical applications. Such systems possess numerous properties not shared by the well-known state variable systems. This paper considers the linear tracking problem for the continuous-time singular systems. The Hamilton-Jacobi theory is used in order to compute the optimal control and associa...
متن کاملOptimal Control of Dispersive Tubular Chemical Reactors: Part Ii
While in the first paper of this series of two, optimal jacket fluid temperature control profiles have been derived for a family of dispersive tubular chemical reactors, the performance of these optimal profiles is further assessed in this second part. First, the performance of the optimal bang-bang control is compared with that of a more easily implementable constant jacket fluid temperature a...
متن کاملOptimal control of biodiesel production in a batch reactor: Part II: Stochastic control
The determination of time-varying profiles through dynamic optimization is an exclusive characteristic of optimal control problems; however, these types of problems become more challenging when variability and uncertainty in any parameter is included. In biodiesel production, there are inherent uncertainties arising due to variation in initial composition, operating parameters, and mechanical e...
متن کاملDAMAGE AND PLASTICITY CONSTANTS OF CONVENTIONAL AND HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE PART II: STATISTICAL EQUATION DEVELOPMENT USING GENETIC PROGRAMMING
Several researchers have proved that the constitutive models of concrete based on combination of continuum damage and plasticity theories are able to reproduce the major aspects of concrete behavior. A problem of such damage-plasticity models is associated with the material constants which are needed to be determined before using the model. These constants are in fact the connectors of constitu...
